It has been awhile!

So I completely lost track of writing in this blog, but since I find myself coming on here all the time to read my friends blogs I figure that I should start updating mine more!...
Last you all read it was March of 2008 and SOOOOOO much has changed since then!

We are now living in Mannheim, Germany and have been here for almost 7 months...I was very excited to come here but since we have gotten here I have to admit that I miss the states like crazy!...I am ready to get this tour over with and get back closer to family...I know there is so much to see and do here so I am taking advantage of everything I can for the next 2 1/2 years but I honestly hope they fly by!...

Emilie is doing great!...She will be 2 in a few weeks...I can not believe that she is already turning 2!...I feel like she was just born...She is such an amazing little girl!...She is still having some problems with her speech but we are working with her and hope that she grows out of it...She has another appointment the week of her birthday to see if they will be doing speech therapy on a regular basis...So we will see!...

We are going home for the summer...Well at least Emilie and I are...Pete will only be there for about 3 or 4 weeks...We plan on leaving the end of May and Emilie and I will fly back out here the end of August...We will be staying at my parents, who will be living in Florida!...I am so excited!!..They just got a 5 bedroom house right outside of Orlando so we will be spending the summer swimming in the pool and going to the parks!...I can not wait!...

I will update this thing a lot more now and I will post some pictures too!...I just wanted to let you all know that we are still alive and doing fabulous!!!

So busy

So I have promised to keep this thing updated every week but I am finding that very hard to do. Between school, taking care of Emilie and keeping up with the house I feel like I do not even have time to sleep.
Things are still moving on very well with the move. We have filled out the paperwork to get medically cleared and have to turn that in. I think we may have a problem with dental because I still need some work done but I am hoping they still pass me for it. It is nothing to bad. Just some more resurfacing and fillings. Got to love weak enamel. I think maybe I should just have them all extracted and get dentures! OK not really. Who wants those at 28??

Emilie is still doing fabulous! She is mimicking so much. She loves to try and copy the words you are saying even if it is in her own little words. She had a great birthday party! She was not to keen on the cake. After a few hand dips in the icing she was done.
I think her Pablo cake turned out great! She is such a Backyardigans fan! It was fun! She got some clothes and a bunch of new toys as well. Ms. Kara got her these amazing crayons that are in little holders that make it easier for her to hold on to and color. She loves them!

Emilie is also mastering the fine art of eating by herself. She is getting quite good at it if I do say so!

Ahhh! But the best thing ever is that she is starting to finally look more like me!!! She is also getting a mouth FULL of teeth! She is growing up so quick!

I have so many more pictures to share but they will have to wait for another day :-)
Right now it is almost 11 pm and I need to get to bed!
I hope this finds everyone well!

My first blog!

So I have a ton of friends who have blogs on her and figure it would be a great way to keep in touch with everyone and keep you all updated when we move to Germany!
Things right now are crazy! We just got back from spending Emilies 1st birthday at DisneyWorld. I can not believe she is already 1!! She has gotten so big! She is a little speed walker now! She also has 4 teeth and is cutting another one on top. She is talking like crazy(even if it is only mama, dada, nana or baba!). She waves bye-bye and she also gives kisses. It is great! She is an amazing little girl!
Pete and I are doing great! We are both about halfway through our 2nd block of classes with University of Phoenix. We are both maintaining A averages in both classes. Other than that things are crazy right now because of the move. I never knew how much work goes into PCS'ing! I can not wait though! Only 4 months to go, give or take a week. We are also excited because Petes Aunt and Uncle live about 2 hours away from where we will be. It will be nice to meet them and have some family over there! I can not wait to get there and start over. I love the friends I have made here in Charleston but it is time for us to move on. I know that we will always remain friends with them!
A lot of you know that my dad has been really sick and I just want you to know that he is doing MUCH better! He will be having to have parts of his feet amputated and depending on how long his recovery will be he might be out of a job for good. I am praying this does not happen because anyone who knows my dad knows that he will go crazy if he can not work at a computer all day long. He has lost a lot of mobility in his fingers so if they can get that back he should be good to go. He is on short term disability for now so we will see how the next 3-4 months go.
So that is all that is going on in the Christoff household! I hope you all are doing well and mark this page in your favorites! I plan on updating this weekly(as soon as I can get Kara to teach me how to post my pics like hers)!
